After 370 days closure, Akanu Ibiam International Airport set for commissioning tomorrow

After 370 days of closing the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu for reconstruction, the Airport welcomed it’s first flight today with the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika and entourage on board.

According to the Minister;

“Just landed on the reconstructed Enugu runway, excellent riding quality. We will commission it for general use tomorrow, alongside very many works at Enugu. This project is also on time and within budget. Thank you Mr President. Democracy pays. To Allah be all the glory.”
