The Spanish government has given the green light for professional sporting activities to resume as from June 8, 2020.
This was disclosed by Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez who according to him, all professional guidelines from the Ministry of Health has been duly followed.
The league, like other European Leagues and leagues worldwide was suspended in mid-March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
If the proposed date is anything to go by, it will be the second top flight European League to resume after the German Bundelisga.
Barcelona are presently topping the league with 58 points from 27 games played so far.
Teams in the league have been given the go ahead to resume group training last week.
