Former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki has commended U.S. President-elect Joe Biden’s selection of Linda Thomas-Greenfield to serve as United States Ambassador to the United Nations.
Dr. Saraki in a statement said, the choice of Linda Thomas-Greenfield “is a great decision for the United States, Africa and Nigeria.”
According to him;
“Her experience on the continent and her strong diplomatic ties across the world will give Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield an edge – as the US works to reassert its global leadership.
“With the friendships that she has developed across the continent over the years, I am particularly pleased that Africa has a good friend in Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield.”
