COVID-19: NCDC, WHO send over 17 Experts to Kano State over surge

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has sent a team of at least 17 persons including 7 from the World Health Organisation (WHO) to Kano State to deal with surging cases of the COVID–19 in the State.

This was disclosed by the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force, Dr Sani Aliyu during the daily briefing of the PTF.

It could be recall that cases of COVID-19 has risen astronomically in recent days. Experts have also said, some of the recent cases of several unknown deaths in the State could actually be related to COVID-19.
