Delta State government bans the use of fireworks during festive season

The Delta State government has banned the use of fireworks popularly known as ‘Knockout’ during this festive season.

In a Press Statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Chiedu Ebie, the ban is due to the security implications that may arise from the use of fireworks.

The statement further added that security operatives have been put in high alert to enforce the law and that any one that violate the order will be prosecuted.
