President Muhammadu Buhari has again met with the Inspector General of Police, M.A. Adamu on Friday night to see to how the Reform process in the Police in regard to the inhuman treatment of Nigerians by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and others could be handled.
In a late Friday tweet, President Buhari said;
“I met again with the IGP tonight. Our determination to reform the police should never be in doubt. I am being briefed regularly on the reform efforts ongoing to end police brutality and unethical conduct, and ensure that the Police are fully accountable to the people.”
In the meeting, also, was the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
For the past two days, there have been nationwide protests for a total ban on the security outfit who see young Nigerians as prey to be devour.
