The GoFundMe account created for the family of Oke Obi-Ehadhuze, one of the victims of the EndSARS Protest has raised £38,177.27 which has been given to the family.
A statement by the girlfriend’s family who created the GoFundMe account after the death of Oke Obi-Ehadhuze to assist the family whose house were also set on fire by hoodlums who hijacked the EndSARS Protest reads;
“THANK YOU friends of Oke Obi-Ehadhuze, colleagues, groups, companies, and everyone who shared the GoFundMe page we created, and those who generously donated to his family after the tragic loss.
“The donations have now been sent by GoFundMe. (Amount raised – £38,701; Figure after deductions by GoFundMe £38,177.27).
“Thanks to the GoFundMe team who generously donated £500 towards the sum above.
“The final sum of £38,177.27 has been sent to Oke’s family. Once again, THANK YOU everyone.”
