The Gidan Dan Hausa is a Museum and Cultural Centre in Kano. It’s a 15th-century historical building where Western education was first taught in the Northern Nigeria by Hanns Vischer, a British Educational Officer.

The building was rebuilt in 1907 and renovated in 2014.
