Governor Obaseki pays a Thank You visit to President Buhari

The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, on Friday paid a Thank You visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.

The governor thank the President for playing a fatherly role during the course of the election which saw the neutrality of the Security Agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission’s in the discharge of their duties.

Governor Godwin Obaseki who few weeks to the election decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), defeated his closest rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor was accompanied on the visit by his Deputy, Shuaibu, their spouses, serving Senators from the State and other government officials.
