Kaduna State Governor extends quarantine period in the state for another 30 days

Kaduna State Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufai has extended the quarantine period in the State for another 30 days.

According to statement released from the office of the State governor,

“Malam Nasir El-Rufai has extended the quarantine orders in the state for another 30 days, effective from 26th April 2020.

The governor also stated,

“The decision follows a recommendation to that effect by the State Standing Committee on Covid-19, chaired by Dr Hadiza Balarabe.

The decision for the extension may not be far from the recent increase in positive cases in the neighbouring State of Kano.
