Malala calls on President Buhari to fast track the release of abducted school girls

The youngest Nobel Prize laureate, Malala Yousafzai, has called on the Nigerian government to do all in it’s power to fast track the immediate release of the abducted school girls from the Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe, in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State by gunmen who stormed the school in the early hours of Friday.

While reacting to the recent abduction, Malala said;

“On my first visit to Nigeria I met with families of Chibok girls kidnapped from their school. I am devastated that seven years later, this is still happening. School should be a safe place to learn, grow & dream. I am calling on Nigeria’s govt to bring these girls home immediately.”
