New mothers forced to sleep on the floor in the open at LUTH, Nigerians react

A cross section of Nigerians have condemned the sorry State of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital where new mothers were being forced to sleep on the floor in the open.

A Twitter user, Babasola Kuti, who shared a video of the environment wrote;

“I woke up this morning and saw this video and I just wanted to cry….this is LUTH. A federal hospital in Lagos where humans are treated like wild animals. New mothers forced to sleep on the floor in the open. Nigeria is a jungle.”

Many have attributed the reason for such incidence to lack of bed space in the Teaching Hospital.

Cases like this abound in most Health facilities in Nigeria.

What do you think?
