NITDA extends capacity development programme to Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD)

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has extended its capacity development programme to Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD) in order to effectively improve their financial independence in pursuing their livelihood.

According to the agency, the programme is open to all Nigerians that are living with any form of disability residing within Kano city. It will focus on the clusters of Persons living with Hearing and/or Speech impairment, Visual Impairment, and the Physically Challenged Persons.

NITDA also noted that this inclusion will enhance participants’ information literacy, internet research skills, and presentation skills. Previous editions were held at different States of the Federation and this edition would be held in the city of Kano, Kano State.
