SERAP calls out President Buhari on failure to obey Court orders

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has accused President Muhammadu Buhari on his failure to obey all court orders relating to publishing spending on recovered loot; names of corrupt electricity contractors and to stop life pensions.

According to SERAP;

“Nigeria’s authorities are often quick to enforce court judgments on political matters. President Buhari is refusing to obey court orders to publish spending on recovered loot; names of corrupt electricity contractors and to stop life pensions. Nigeria deserves better than this.”

There have been several court orders mandating the President to obey and implement the aforementioned but nothing has been done so far.
